Book of Hadiths of the Prophets, peace be upon them. ... Chapter on his saying {And among the people are those who take equals besides God} ... Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said that if one of the servants of God had sworn an oath to God, he would fulfill it, that is, make him righteous in his oath and do what he wanted. The fourth part was completed, and the fifth part follows it, and the beginning of it is the chapter on the Almighty’s saying: {O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you} and God knows best.
