Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 1117 AH = 000 - District 1705 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | “From the chapter on women and children going to weddings, and from the chapter on what is forbidden in terms of insults and cursing.”
