Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

ثمَّ سلَكَ سلك ملكِ العبدِ الفقيرِ إلى اللهِ العليِّ الغنيِّ القديرِ أحمدَ بنِ عليٍّ، أحسَنَ اللهُ إليهما وإليه، وختمَهم على حسنِ الخاتمةِ لديه، وعنده حسنُ المآبِ وإليه المرجعُ والمآبُ، بعام بفان لغد الحساب ببذل شعر سه ماه اب اللهم يسِّر علمه وعمله يا وهَّابُ.
