It contains comments, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on the Prophet’s command, may God bless him and grant him peace, to be calm when praying, and his pointing at them with the whip. ...Chapter: If he demolishes a wall, let him build something like it.
