Praise be to God, the One who revives the wretched, the swipe of the pen, the scatterer of nations, and the Creator of the breeze, so that they may worship Him and not associate others with Him... He said... Al-Saghani... As for what follows, since I ascended the ranks of honour.... And when God Almighty crowned me and crowned me with the crown of the lamp of darkness from the pages of the Prophet’s Hadith... I looked for the two seas to meet... and I added to what was in them what was authentic from my book Al-Shihab and Al-Najm so that the pages would be collected in a light-sized book... and I called it Mashariq Al-Anwar. Prophetic Sahih Al-Akhbar Al-Mustafawiyya, the sign of the Kha is... Al-Bukhari... the sign of the M is... Muslim bin Al-Hajjaj... and the sign of the Q is for what they agreed upon... ... M. Aisha, may God be pleased with her. O God, Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You judge between Your servants in that in which they differ, guide me to the truth in that in which they differ.
