Chapters and hadiths were written in red The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Indeed, I am All-Knowing of what you do.” Muhammad ibn Kathir narrated to us, Sufin narrated to us, on the authority of Mansour... ... Ahmad ibn Ashkab narrated to me, Muhammad ibn Fudail narrated to me, on the authority of Asara ibn Al-Qaqa’, on the authority of Abu Zur’ah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said two words that are dear to the Most Merciful, and are light on them. The tongue is heavy in the scale. Glory be to God and praise be to Him. Glory be to God the Great. This is the end of the sentence
