Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.... He said... Al-Saghani... Praise be to God, the reviver of the wretched, the flower of the pen, the spreader of nations, and the Creator of the breeze, that they may worship Him and not associate others with Him. And he said... Muhammad ibn Mahmoud ibn Ahmad... And if what is meant is the truth as such, he called the definition of generality and immersion. As for it being a subject for any of that, it was said that it means that it is a subject for each one of them in a specific way, so it is verbally combined... ...and his saying, “I protected the people from water,” meaning I withheld it from them, and his saying, and his saying, “I possessed.” So I pronounce it with a hamza, a neglected sīn with a sukūn, then a broken jim, then a neglected haa. It means gentler and better, that is, do not take it too harshly, for spite has occurred against the enemy, and God knows best what is correct.
