I wrote the titles and the words of the statement and what we talked about in red ink, and the rest of the text in black ink. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | From the chapter on the virtues of the Ansar to the chapter on removing harm from the boy during the Aqeeqah

Chapter on the virtues of the Ansar, the saying of God Almighty: {They sheltered and supported those who lived in the abode, and faith is from their saying: they love those who emigrated to them, and do not find in their breasts any need for what they were given} ... Chapter on removing harm from the way... He said: And the first produce that was produced for them was that they slaughtered it for their tyrants and the tribe in Rajab.

قَد وقفَ وحبَّسَ المكرَّم الحاج خطّاب شلبي ابنُ المرْحوم شلبي هذا الكتابَ الشَّريفَ عَلى طلبةِ العلمِ الأنورِ في الجامِعِ الأزْهرِ، ويكونُ مقرُّه بِرواقِ المَغارِبةِ {فمن بدله بعد ما سمعه فإنما إثمه على الذين يبدلونه}18 شوّال سنة 1278.
