It has sober comments and very sober sayings in its footnotes. - It is worth noting that the writer of the footnotes is a scholar and has many manuscripts of this blessed text in his hands, and for this matter there are many clues, such as him saying in the footnotes of the copies of the text that I have in my hands such-and-such and reviewing the differences between the copies, even though the copy is late. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
