Notes	The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

(Chapter on deceiving the worker to get guidance for him)... Musaddad told us... and said: Had I not heard the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: “The neighbor has more right [to his reward],” I would not have given you. The blessed part of Sahih Al-Bukhari has been completed, followed by the book of expression, and God knows best
