It contains comments, and I liked very much what he mentioned about an ambiguous man in a hadith, and he mentioned much of his matter in Paper (202). - It has the author’s division into footnotes. - It has corrections. | Date of death of the copyist: 871 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
