The pages from [20] to the end of the copy were added in a different handwriting and it contains a hole from page 17 to page 71 in this place, about 52 pages. #- There was a confusion in the order of the papers, so the rest of the papers after 16 pages until the end are from Sahih Muslim and not from Sahih Al-Bukhari, so be careful! #- At the beginning of the copy is an index of the books it contains. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The Book of Fasting and I’tikaf, Chapter on the Obligation of Fasting in Ramadan, God Almighty’s saying: “O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous” .... And upon those who are able to do so, a ransom must be paid, Ibn Omar and Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ said, its abrogation is the month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed to his saying, “As He has guided you”…
