Praise be to God, the One who revives the wretched, the swipe of the pen, the scatterer of nations, and the Creator of the breeze, so that they may worship Him and not associate others with Him... He said... Al-Saghani... As for what follows, since I ascended the ranks of honour... And when God Almighty crowned me and crowned me with the crown of the lamp of darkness from the Sahih of the Prophet’s Hadith... I mixed the two seas together... and I added to what was in them what was authentic from my book Al-Shihab and Al-Najm so that the Sahih was collected in a light-sized book... and I called it Mashariq Al-Anwar. Al-Nabawiyyah from Sahih Al-Akhbar Al-Mustafawiyya. The sign of the Kha is... Al-Bukhari... the sign of the M is... Muslim bin Al-Hajjaj... and the sign of the Q-f, for what they agreed upon... ...M Ibn Masoud. There is not one of you except that his companion from the jinn and his companion from the angels have been assigned to him.
