The beginning of the manuscript:
We praise You, O He who has illuminated our hearts with the light of His guidance in considering the Sunnah of the Master of the Prophets, and we thank You, O He who has enlightened our hearts by guiding us to the reading of the hadith of the chain of transmission of the pure ones, and we pray for the One whom You have designated for the praiseworthy station and the greatest intercession, and for his family and companions, the stars of guidance, and the lamps of darkness... As for what follows: Then the poor Ibrahim bin Mustafa al-Hanafi says, God treated them with His hidden kindness: This is the explanation of the East for the late Ibn al-Malik. May God shower his mercy upon him and make him dwell in His spacious Paradise. He arranged it like the arrangement of lamps so that it would be easy for those who needed it to eat. Without changing its wording except when necessary, and perhaps I added something from Al-Masabih and other things to it, when I mentioned each of the holy hadiths that the author collected in one chapter in the appropriate section of the chapter, I referred to its sanctity at the beginning by saying: God Almighty said; To show beginners. I named it: Al-Anwar Al-Bawaariq fi Sharh Ar-Tiba Sharh Al-Mashariq. And what is responsible for God’s great grace is to make him a treasure for my hereafter. He is the righteous, the merciful... The conclusion of the manuscript:
... “The example of my nation is like rain, and it is not known whether it will be good at the beginning or at the end,” as mentioned in Al-Masabah, narrated by Anas. Praise be to God, by whose grace and majesty good deeds are accomplished, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the master of all beings, and upon all his family and companions, and all other obedient people from the people of the heavens and the people of the earth. We thank God for its completion, and we thank Him for its conclusion.

حَسْبِيَ اللهُ وحدَه، منَ الكُتبِ الَّتي وقَفَها الفقيرُ إلى آلاءِ ربِّه ذي المواهبِ محمَّدٌ المدعو بينَ الصدورِ بالراغبِ، وكَفَى عبدهُ.
