The sheikh, the eminent scholar, the only scholar of his time, and the unique one of his time, Abu Abdullah Badr al-Din, said... Praise be to God for what he has encompassed in blessings and limited to clarification and understanding... As for what follows, in this dictation I intended to clarify what occurred in Sahih... Al-Bukhari, in terms of strange pronunciation, ambiguous parsing, or difficult lineage... with which the intelligent person almost dispenses with explanation... and I called it refinement... Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God... ...The Book of Monotheism... Chapter on the saying of God Almighty... And We will set up just scales for the Day of Resurrection, and the deeds and words of the children of Adam will be weighed... And I ask God, the Generous, Most Benevolent, the Ultimate in Knowledge and the Granter of Contentment... Praise be to God alone and nothing after Him.
