At the end of it, the copyist quoted from the copy from which the copy was abrogated. The copyist copied that copy from the handwriting of the work on the date of completion of the composition, which reads: “He finished compiling it... on the first day of Rajab Al-Fard in the year eight hundred and forty-two, except for what he added to this booklet on the twelfth of Rajab thereof. He collected the introduction in the year thirteen and began to explain it in the beginning of the year seventeen, and praise be to God...”

His saying: Chapter: If two Muslims meet with their swords... and I saw that this opening was sealed in one of the ways of this hadith that is suitable for sealing.... on the authority of Aisha, who said that when the Messenger of God sat in a sitting or prayed, he would speak words, so I asked him about that, and he said, if he spoke a good word, it was sealed on it, meaning a seal on it until the Day of Resurrection, and if he spoke otherwise, it was an expiation for him. Glory be to You, O God, and with Your praise, there is no god but You, I ask forgiveness and turn to You. This is the end of the book.
