Praise be to God, who has illuminated the breasts of the worlds with the lights of the suns of knowledge, and whose rays have ignited the shafts of wisdom, the torches of the hearts of those who know, and who has reconciled the puzzles of words with the eloquent Sunnah... Know that God has guided me and you... The imams have agreed on the authenticity of Sahihs Al-Bukhari and Muslim and the necessity of acting on them... ... O God, forgive the present men and women, and those who remember God often, and the women who remember, and let us attain the Hajj to Your Sacred House in this year, their supplication, O God, Glory be to You, O God, and greet them in it. Peace and their last supplication is: Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.

أوْقف وأحْبس وتصدّق بهذا الكتاب العمْدة الفاضل السّيّد حامد القصبيّ على من ينتفع به من المسْلمين، وقْفا صحيحا شرْعيّا لا يباع ولا يوهب ولا يرْهن، {فمن بدّله بعد ما سمعه فإنما إثمه على الذين يبدلونه إن الله سميع عليم} وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم.

جاءَ عَلى صَفْحةِ العُنوانِ قَيدُ وقْفٍ ما نصُّه: «أوْقفَ وأحْبسَ وتصدَّقَ بهذا الكِتابِ العُمْدة الفاضِلُ السّيّد حامِد القصبيّ عَلى مَن ينتفِعُ بِه مِن المُسْلِمينَ، وقْفًا صَحيحًا شَرْعيًّا لا يُباعُ ولا يوهَب ولا يُرْهَنُ، {فمَن بدّله بعد ما سمعه فإنما إثمه على الذين يبدلونه إن الله سميع عليم} وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم».#الفَوائِد العِلْميَّة:في آخِرِها فائِدةٌ: «في تَسْهيلِ الرِّزقِ والأَمانِ في السَّفرِ وغَيرِه مِنَ التَّحْصينِ مِن الآفاتِ»، كتَبَها عَبدُ اللهِ بْنُ قاسِم الرّصّاع، حِكايةً عَن شَيْخِه أَبي القاسِمِ العَبْدوسيّ؛ في حُدودِ ورَقتَينِ.
