Praise be to God who explained the hearts of the people of Islam with the Sunnah and they were led to follow it... As for what follows... that is an introduction to explaining its rules... and the statement about it is limited... to ten chapters... The first chapter is in explaining the reason that motivated Abu Abdullah Al-Bukhari to classify his mosque and a statement of his good intention in doing so... ... The tenth chapter is in counting the hadiths of the mosque... mentioning his return to Bukhara and what happened between him and its emir... Al-Hasan said, and his lifespan was sixty-two years minus thirteen days, may God Almighty have mercy on him.
