It is mentioned at the end that this half of Al-Bukhari is approximated, and it is followed at the beginning of the second half by the virtues of Abdullah bin Masoud (may God be pleased with him), and in the margin is what it says, “The end of the fifteenth part of thirty parts.” It began with the chapter on the virtues of the city and ended with the virtues of Salem Mawla Hudhayfah. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

After the Basmala, the virtues of Medina, the chapter on what was mentioned in the sanctuary of Medina, he told us... ...After that, I heard the Messenger of God (may God bless him and grant him peace) say: Recite the Qur’an from four: from Abdullah bin Masoud, and he began with him, and Salim, the client of Abu Hudhayfah and Abu Ka’b, and Muadh bin Jabal. He said, I do not know whether he started with my father or with Muadh bin Jabal.
