Praise be to God for His blessings and His clarification... As for what follows: In this dictation, I intended to clarify what occurred in the Sahih of the venerable Imam Al-Bukhari... of strange pronunciation, ambiguous parsing, or difficult lineage... and I called it the revision of the words of the Sahih Al-Jami’... ... because he placed it as a standard and a balance to refer to. This is easy for the one for whom God made it easy, and who looked at him with care. Glory be to God, and praise be to Him, He fills the scales, the utmost knowledge, the measure of contentment is the weight of the throne.
