Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 842 AH = 000 - District 1438 AD) | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

He said, Gabriel came to the Prophet... ... Chapter (Indeed, the hypocrites are in the lowest level of Hell)... Suleiman ibn Harb told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, I heard Al-Bara’, may God be pleased with him, who said: “The last surah was revealed, Bara’a, and the last verse was revealed: {They ask you for a fatwa}.
