It contains corrections, comments, and transcription differences in the margin. | Date of death of the copyist: 828 | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

In the name of God.. Chapter on images. Adam told us.. on the authority of Abu Talha, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog, and do not make images.. ...
