The entire copy, when each section is mentioned, is gilded and embellished, and the references and evidence are mentioned in other colors, until gold water fills all the pages of the copy | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
