Restored and stitched. #It has readings and repairs. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text On the authority of his father, he said: I also found Abu Uthman on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr, who said: We were with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, one hundred and thirty, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Does any of you have food?” So if a man is with a Saa’ of food or the like, then he kneads, then a tall polytheist man comes to him with sheep that he drives... Chapter on the saying of God Almighty [And We set the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection]. The children of Adam said, “And their saying is that it is weighed.” Mujahid said: “Justice is the root of justice” in Romans, and he said: “Justice” is the source of the just person, and he is the just person, and as for the just person, he is the unjust one. Ahmad ibn Ishkab? Bin Fudail, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: Two words beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue and heavy in the scale, Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great, Chapter on the saying of God Almighty [And We set the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection] The children of Adam said, “And their saying is weighed.” Mujahid said: “Justice is the root of justice” in Romans, and he said: “Justice” is the source of justice, and it is just, and as for the just person, it is the unjust Ahmad ibn Ishkab? Ibn Fudail, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “There are two words that are beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue and heavy on the scale: Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.”
