The date of completion of the book's writing was confirmed from the Library of the Chief Writer, No. (194); It was stated in it: “The author, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said that his collection, Ahmad bin Ali, was completed... on the first day of Rajab Al-Farad in the year one hundred and eight forty-two, except for what he added to this booklet on the twelfth of Rajab of that year. He collected the introduction in the year thirteen and began explaining it in the beginning of the year seventeen, and praise be to God.”

Praise be to God who has enlightened the hearts of the people of Islam with guidance and descended into the hearts of those of darkness, so that I will not be cast... As for what I intended to do in explaining Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih, as I promised at the beginning of the introduction... I called it Fath Al-Bari with Al-Bukhari’s explanation, and I decided to start the explanation with my chains of transmission to the original... ... His saying “Chapter if the imam does not intend to lead” etc.... His saying on the authority of Abdullah bin Saeed bin Jubayr is one of the peers of Ayyub, his narrator, and the men of the chain of narration are all Basran, and the rest of the benefits will be discussed. The hadith of Ibn Abbas mentioned in these three chapters is complete in the Book of Witr, God willing.
