Black in the text and red in the titles, some chapters, and comments.# The floor is torn through the papers, and the pages are disassembled and in poor condition, and need restoration. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

«قدْ وقَفَ هذه النُّسخةَ الجليلةَ سلطانُنا الأعظمُ، والخاقانُ المعظَّمُ، مالكُ البريْنِ والبحريْنِ، خادمُ الحرميْنِ الشريفيْنِ، السلطانُ بنُ السلطانِ، السلطانُ الغازي محمودٌ خان وقفًا صحيحًا شرعيًّا، لمن طالَعَ وتلى أكرمه اللهُ تعالى بالزُّلفِ والحُسنى، حرَّرَه الفقيرُ أحمدُ شيخ زادة المفتِّشُ بأوقافِ الحرميْنِ الشريفيْنِ غُفِرَ لهمُا». ثمَّ خاتمُ وقفٍ نُقِشَ بداخلِه ما نصُّه: «{الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلَا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ} وقفُ محمودٍ خان بن مصطفى خان»
