Corrected version. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on burning houses and palm trees. Mandand told us, he said... Jarir said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me: Won’t you give me relief from Dhul-Khalasa, who used to live in Khath’am? ... Abu Al-Yaman said, meaning the oud and musk oozing from them. Mujahid said: The early dawn is the beginning of dawn and the evening is the tendency of the sun until it sets at the end of the thirteenth part.
