The author of the book, Maher Taher Ismail Al-Barzanji, said about the time of writing the book: None of the authors of biographies and classes mentioned the time in which Ibn Malik wrote his book Mubariq al-Azhar, but he wrote it in the eighth century, and perhaps he wrote it before the middle of it, and God knows best.

Praise be to God for the gift of guidance and Islam, and the gift of knowledge and knowledge...and after; Abd al-Latif bin Abd al-Aziz, known as Ibn al-Malik, says: When he made clear the aspects of the article, and looked at the outcome correctly, the highest knowledge became a beacon and reach, and the highest honor and beauty, since there is no Muhammad but He is the path to it, and a veil but He is the guide to it... Among the luxurious books and abundant books that were compiled in it: The Book of Mashariq al-Anwar in Sahih al-Akhbar, for it is arranged in exquisite arrangements, and is narrated. In brilliant methods, and it is limited to pure benefits, and what is like superfluous things is omitted from it, and for this reason it has become famous, like the sun in the fourth day... And I called it Murabiq al-Azhar in Sharh Mashariq al-Anwar... ... (M) Anas, may God be pleased with him, Muslim narrated on his authority, “Labbayk Umrah and Hajj” is in the accusative case with decreed meaning: wanting to do Umrah or by removing the descriptor, i.e. with Umrah, this This indicates that he was a qāriḥa, as we have previously discussed and what are the most correct narrations contained in it at the beginning of Chapter Nine.
