Notes	This copy is an introduction to what Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Hajar wrote in his commentary on al-Jami` al-Sahih called Fath al-Bari and called it Hidayat al-Sari. \| The date of completion of the composition was proven from the copy of Tarkhan, mother of Sultan, within Sulaymaniyah, with the number (54).
Sample Text	Our sheikh... famous for Ibn Hajar said... Praise be to God who explained the issuance of the people of Islam with the Sunnah... As for what follows, the first thing on which the precious things of the days have been spent... is preoccupation with the Sharia sciences... And I saw Imam Abu Abdullah Al-Bukhari in his Sahih collection, who addressed the quotation from their splendid lights... And I sought the help of God Almighty to add to it a summary explaining its benefits, clarifying its revealing purposes... and I present an introduction to that in clarifying its rules. And the embellishment of his novels is comprehensive and brief... ...in ten chapters... Then I concluded this introduction with a translation revealing his characteristics and virtues... If these chapters are edited... I begin the explanation of the book... ...he mentioned his return to Bukhara... Al-Khatib said: I am Ali bin Abi Hamid in his book: I am Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Makki. I heard Abd al-Wahid bin Adam al-Tawawisi saying: I saw the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in sleep, and with him a group of his companions, and he was standing in a place. I greeted him, and he responded to my greeting, so I said, “What is your standing?” Here, O Messenger of God, he said: I wait for Muhammad bin Ismail. He said, when after a few days, I was informed of his death, so I looked and saw that he had died at the hour in which I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Muhayb bin Sulaym said: That was Saturday night, the eve of Eid al-Fitr in the year two hundred and fifty-six. Al-Hasan bin Al-Hussein Al-Bazzar also said about the date of his death, and it was dated by Abu Al-Hussein bin Qani’, Abu Al-Hussein bin Al-Munadi, Abu Suleiman bin Al-Zubur, and others. Al-Hasan said, and his lifespan was sixty-two years, except Thirteen days, may God Almighty have mercy on him
