The copy has many pages written in a different font, this seems a fabrication. #- The pages that were corrected seem to be the oldest pages, and the rest are relatively newer, but the comments and footnotes were on everyone. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
