The first is a colorful introductory panel decorated with a botanical motif. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Book of Zakat...Chapter on the executor paying off the debts of the dead without the presence of the heirs....Then he said (Call your friends). He continued to measure to them until God fulfilled my father’s trust, and I, by God, am satisfied that God fulfill my father’s trust and I do not return to my brothers with a single date. So, by God, all the threshing floors were handed over to me, to the point that I look at the threshing floor on which the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was standing as if not a single date was missing.
