The manuscript's physical condition is very good. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Incomplete, and the first that is present among them: And your Lord has not forgotten, and indeed in the Messenger of God there was a good example for you. The chapter on combining the two surahs in a rak’ah and reciting with the endings, with a surah before a surah, and with the first surah. It is mentioned on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Sa’ib that the believers recited the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in the morning until when Moses and Aaron came, or Jesus was mentioned, a cough took him and he bowed... incomplete, and the last that is present from it: Al-Hulayfa, for the people of the Levant, Al-Juhfa, and for the people of Najd. Qarn Al-Manazil and for the people of Yemen, Yalamlam for them, and for those who come to them, it is not their right for those who want Hajj and Umrah. Whoever is less than them has a reprieve from his family, and likewise even the people of Mecca get a reprieve from it as the people of Najd. Ali told us, Sufyan told us, we preserved it from Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Salem, on the authority of his father. He said, “The time of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, is incomplete, and the last of the existing ones are: Al-Hulaifa, for the people of the Levant, Al-Juhfah, for the people of Najd, Qarn Al-Manazil, and for the people of Yemen, Yalamlam for them, and for those who came.” They are entitled to a period other than theirs for those who want Hajj and Umrah. Whoever is less than them has a period of time from his family, and similarly, even the people of Mecca are given a period of time from the people of Najd.
