Praise be to God who has made clear the path to the landmarks of the Sunnah, and has paved the way for the provisions of the Sharia with the strongest argument and evidence, and has chosen a group of His servants to carry them and transmit them with the fullness and preference that He contains... And after: ... and know that the purpose of this book is to record the names of the men of the Sahihs of Al-Bukhari and Muslim... and I called it the apple of the eye in recording the names of the men of the two Sahihs... ... Our Lord, the Commander of the Faithful, the subject of this book, has authorized, with his noble design, that he narrate the two Sahihs with this chain of transmission, God willing... as he willed, on the considered condition. According to the scholars of hadith, what is required of everyone who reads these papers is to seek excuses from their author...
