Notes	The beginning of the copy reads: “The Book of Mubariq al-Azhar, Sharh Mashariq al-Anwar, written by Fadil Sulaiman Effendi.” \| The author of the book, Maher Taher Ismail Al-Barzanji, said about the time of writing the book: None of the authors of biographies and classes mentioned the time in which Ibn Malik wrote his book Mubariq al-Azhar, but he wrote it in the eighth century, and perhaps he wrote it before the middle of it, and God knows best.
Sample Text	Praise be to God for the gift of guidance and Islam and the gift of knowledge and information, especially in explaining the hadith of the best of humanity, Muhammad, who is assigned to the highest station... And then the weak and powerful Abd al-Latif bin Abd al-Aziz, known as Ibn al-Malik, says... and I called him Mubariq al-Azhar in Sharh Mashriq al-Azhar... ... Anas Muslim narrated on his authority Labbaik Umrah and Hajj, in the accusative case, i.e., intending, Umrah, or by removing the declension, i.e., Umrah. This indicates that he, peace be upon him, was a relative... Thank God for everything...
