It contains corrections, comments, and transcription differences in the margin. | Date of death of the copyist: alive in the year 1237 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

وقفيّات: السّيّد مُحمّد أحْمَد المحْروقيّ، أوْقفَه عَلى طلَبةِ العِلمِ بِالجودريَّة بِزاويةِ الشَّيخِ العربيّ سنةَ 1240هـ. ونصُّه: "أوْقفَ هذا الكِتابَ المُباركَ عَلى طلَبةِ العِلمِ الشَّريفِ السّيّد مُحمّد أَحْمد المحْروقيّ، وجعَلَ مقرَّه بِزاويةِ الشّيخِ العربيّ بالجودريّة، وأَن لا يُعير أكثَر مِن ثلاثةِ كراريسَ".#- خاتَم تملّك: الكُتبخانة الأزْهريَّة 1319.
