Notes	At the beginning of the volume are lithographed pages explaining Surat Al-Fatihah in a language other than Arabic. At the beginning is an index of the contents of the volume on 18 pages. At the beginning are written symbols for Bukhari’s narrators. They are heavy with comments, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
