It was written about this copy that it is the oldest copy of the Sahih, that it is one of the millennium manuscripts, and that it is one of the rarest manuscripts in the world...., and the reason for that illusion is in reading the date, as it was read (407 AH) and I do not think it is that way, and the handwriting of the copy does not help with it, and also the library cataloguer was the first to mention that it was copied (407 AH) and it is not true, may God reward him well. | Date of death of the copyist: ninth century AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
