The Sheikh said... Muhammad bin Abi Nasr bin Abdullah Al-Humaidi... Praise be to God, whose blessings are countless... As for what follows: For God Almighty says... {The people were one nation}... And each one of them labeled his book as authentic, and no one came before them to do so, and I do not recommend this label in all that Ahmad collected other than them in what we have learned... And I asked him for help and support in abstracting what was in these two books from the texts of the narrations and the texts of the narrations... and summarizing that in one book, collecting their parts, and preserving their biographies... ...And the fifty on the authority of Abu Issa Al-Aswari on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri that the Prophet discouraged drinking while standing... The last of the two Sahihs is from the Musnad of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him... and it is recited in the second agreed-upon volume of the Musnad of Abdullah bin Abbas.
