The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | “From the beginning of the book Al-Maghazi to the end of the Sahih”

Its beginning: The Book of Conquests, and Ibn Ishaq said: The first thing the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, conquered was the fathers, then Bawat, then the clan... ...its end: Chapter on God’s saying and setting the just scales for the Day of Resurrection... Two words beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue, heavy in the scale: Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.
