32/B (the first of the twentieth parts of sixty parts). | Date of death of the copyist: 869 AH. He was alive. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on sharecropping and the like. ...Chapter: If a polytheist burns a Muslim, will he be burned? ...Chapter: Yahya bin Bukayr told us, Al-Layth told us, on the authority of Yunus, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab and Abu Salamah, that Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - said, I heard the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - saying, “An ant pinched a prophet from among the prophets, so he ordered the village of ants to be burned, and God revealed to him that if you pinched an ant, you burned a nation of nations praising God.” The part ended. Fourth.
