Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 1117 AH = 000 - District 1705 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | “Chapter on Salman Al-Farsi’s conversion to Islam, may God be pleased with him, to the chapter ‘Now God has lightened your burden and knows that there is weakness in you.’”

I am more worthy of Moses than you. Then he ordered his fast. Two servants told us, Abdullah told us... On the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: He used to let his hair down... Chapter on Salman Al-Farsi’s conversion to Islam, may God be pleased with him... Chapter (Now God has lightened for you and He knows that there is weakness in you) the verse... And it is said: In a source of truthfulness, in a spring of truthfulness, {Al-Khawalif} “The disobedient one who left behind me, so he sat back.”
