Translations of the chapters in red. | Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 783 AH = 000 - District 1381 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Chapter on Tira. Abdullah bin Muhammad told us, Othman bin Omar told us, Yunus told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Salem, on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “There is no infection, no evil, and bad luck in three things: the woman, the house, and the animal... ... Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, “And we set the scales of justice, and that the deeds of the sons of Adam and their words are weighed.” Mujahid Al-Qastas said, “justice” in Romans, and it is said that “justice” is the source of justice, and it is just. The unjust is the unjust. Ahmad ibn Ishkab told us, Muhammad ibn Fudail told us, on the authority of Amara ibn al-Qaqa’, on the authority of Abu Zur’ah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Two words beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue and heavy in the scale, Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.

قدْ وقَفَ هذه النُّسخةَ الجليلةَ سلطانُنا الأعظمُ، والخاقانُ المعظَّمُ، مالكُ البريْنِ والبحريْنِ، خادمُ الحرميْنِ الشريفيْنِ، السلطانُ بنُ السلطانِ، السلطانُ الغازي محمودٌ خان وقفًا صحيحًا شرعيًّا، لمن طالَعَ وتلى أكرمه اللهُ تعالى بالزُّلفِ والحُسنى، حرَّرَه الفقيرُ أحمدُ شيخ زادة المفتِّشُ بأوقافِ الحرميْنِ الشريفيْنِ غُفِرَ لهمُا»، ووضع تحته خاتمه.ثمَّ خاتمُ وقفٍ نُقِشَ بداخلِه ما نصُّه: «{الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلَا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ} وقفُ محمودٍ خان بن مصطفى خان
