Praise be to God who opened the treasuries of meanings with the keys of the Prophetic Sunnah, and revealed the face of its drugs, the results of suspicion in the lamps of the radiance of divine outpourings... As for what follows, Ahmed bin Ali... known as Al-Munini... says that when I assumed the job of reciting the Sahih of Imam al-Bukhari in the Umayyad Mosque... some word was sought from me from the masters of the hearts... that I should record in numbers the abundance and inspiration that occurs through report and the results of study... so I believed in this and received permission from the overflow. The light is upon the hearts upon the hearts in what is here for you, and I received his sign of acceptance and compliance... imitating the masters of speech... and I named it: Iltiha’ Al-Darari according to Sahih Al-Bukhari, and it is better to call it also: Al-Zind Al-Wari with an explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari... ...a chapter on nunation, which is omitted in the narration of the original... The superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon on the night of the full moon over all the other planets, and that the scholars are the heirs of the prophets, and that the prophets, peace be upon them, did not leave behind a dinar or a dirham. They only inherited knowledge that will benefit them, so whoever takes it will gain a great fortune. Then he said, “This is what Mahmoud narrated to us.”
