At the beginning of it is an index of the books, the annotated chapters, and their page numbers, in color, tabulated, arranged according to the books and chapters of the Sahih. What is strange is that this copy is located in one large volume, written in precise handwriting, and includes the entire book. Those concerned with Bukhari then stated the date of his completion of writing this half on Thursday 11/Rajab/911 AH, then the copyist, Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Hamawi, known as the copyist in Damascus, mentioned the date of his arrival to this point, which was Thursday 17/Muharram/1125 AH. | Date of the copyist’s death: (He was alive in 1152 AH) | The date of completion of the composition was confirmed from the Damietta Library copy within the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Library with the number (general number: (130882); special number: (7502)).

Al-Qastalani says... Praise be to God who explained with the knowledge of the scholars of the Prophetic Sunnah the issuance of his saints.... And after that, the knowledge of the Prophetic Sunnah, after the Mighty Book, is the greatest of sciences.... And the book of Al-Bukhari... came from the Sahih Hadith and its jurisprudence in a way that had never been done before and no one had resorted to it... And the dangers have always occurred to my mind to attach to it an explanation in which I mix it up... So without you.... I called it Irshad Al-Sari to explain Sahih Al-Bukhari... and this is an introduction that includes the means of objectives. It guides the traveler and the one who seeks it. It includes chapters that are the branches of the rules of this explanation, the principles... ...on the authority of Ali - may God be pleased with him - who said: Whoever likes to be measured by a standard, let him say at the end of his sitting or when he rises, Glory be to your Lord, Lord of glory, for what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the reins of the pen have been bent... The blessed explanation has been completed, and praise be to God.
