It contains corrections, comments, and transcription differences in the margin. The first and the last are missing. | Piece of the book | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

It begins with the Book of Interpretation, and its beginning is: “They said: No, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: You will not feel any difficulty in seeing God on the Day of Resurrection... Chapter {So how if We bring from every nation a witness and We bring you as a witness over these}. ... It ends with the Meals, Chapter: Whoever eats until he is satisfied, and the last of it is: “Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me: Abu Talha sent you? I said: Yes, and he said: For food? He said, so I said: Yes. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Zam’ah: Get up, so go.

بسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحمنِ الرَّحيمِ، الحمد لله الَّذي وقَفَ أسرارَ عبادِه، والصَّلاةُ على سيدِنا محمَّدٍ وآلِه، وبعد: قدْ وقفتُ هذه النُّسخةَ الشريفةَ، وقفًا صحيحًا مؤبَّدًا، ابتغاءً لمرضاةِ اللهِ تعالى، ووضعتُها دارَ الكتبِ الَّتي في مدرستِي، وشرطْتُ أن لَا يخرجَ إلَّا بالرَّهنِ، وأنا الفقيرُ الحاجُّ محمَّدٌ راغبٌ بن محمَّدٌ مسعود أفندي، غُفِرَ لهما؛ ووضع خاتمه.
