The identification studies of the hadiths are connected with the death of the Prophet Muhammad. Although the studies of Islamic scholars on this subject have resolved many problems, some narrations are based on Hz. The issue of determining belonging to the Prophet is still up to date. Therefore, many procedural studies have been carried out on the subject from past to present. Methodology studies in this field have become a more dynamic research field with new research opportunities. In recent academic research in the faculties of Theology in Turkey, remarkable studies have been carried out on the hadith method. A considerable number of books, postgraduate theses and articles have been produced in this field. Although there are various issues discussed in these studies, procedural essays are mostly clustered around text analysis and criticism. It is a known fact that hadith studies, centered on rical criticism, have solved many problems for centuries. However, it is argued that there are still some problems awaiting solution. It is thought that these problems will be overcome if text analysis is activated as a complementary element. In this study, hadith texts in today's Turkey. Recommended methods for determining belonging to the Prophet have been investigated. In order not to exceed the text article limit, it is limited to a few doctoral studies on this subject. The common points and differences of these studies have been identified. Then, the contributions of these methods to text detection were evaluated.
