Notes	Man living in the world of martyrdom has always been curious about the unseen and the unknown since the day he was created. Thanks to this curiosity, man has concentrated on dealing with and understanding the unseen. In this context, in this article, Fahreddin Râzi's work titled "Mefâtihu'l-Gayb" and Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır's approach to the unseen verses and the way they handle the verses in his commentary titled "Hak Dini Kur'an Dili" are compared. As a result of the study, it was seen that in both tafsir, the concept of the unseen and the explanations about the unseen verses were given sufficient place and the issue was examined in general terms. It is seen that both commentators, on the one hand, take into account the scientific heritage on the subject, and on the other hand, reveal their evaluations of the verses on the subject of the unseen. It has been determined that both commentators have a generally similar stance on the issue of the unseen. However, it has been concluded that Razi presents a more detailed and comprehensive perspective in evaluating the narrations and especially in terms of the sources that form the basis of the unseen.
