Notes	This study deals with how and to what extent Kindi used the hypothetical/contradiction method on issues such as the finitude of the universe and those predicated of it, that something brought into existence cannot be its own cause, and the proof of the truth of the Real One. As a requirement of the period in which he lived, Kindi felt the need to defend religion with the dress of philosophy, and he achieved this with a field of action that can be summarized as reaching metaphysics based on physics, logic and mathematics. In this context, Kindi's method aims to reach the knowledge of the invisible from the knowledge of the visible, as well as to comprehend the truth of the One who brings into existence, based on the knowledge of the existing. In this respect, the ultimate goal for Kindi is to reach Allah and His knowledge, which he defines as the True/Real One. The most accurate source of information on this subject is revelation. Philosophy is the companion and assistant of religion as long as it can explain the knowledge of revelation.
