Kindi (d.873) is among the founding figures of Islamic philosophy. During the period when he first encountered the thought of Ancient Greece, he was able to establish a connection between Islamic thought and Ancient Greece and discussed his ideas within a certain system. The idea of the perfect universe, which we will discuss in this article, was transferred to Islamic philosophy as the legacy of Plato and Aristotle and has been discussed by almost every philosopher. The importance of Kindi is that he is the first philosopher to deal with this issue in the most comprehensive way in Islamic thought regarding the perfection of the universe. Kindi establishes a connection between the perfection of the Creator and the perfection of the universe that emanates from him, and ultimately discusses how this perfection is reflected in humans.
