Zokayd lodge is a Nakshi-Khalidi lodge that was active in Siirt and its surroundings during the historical period from the 1880s to the 1990s. The lodge was founded by Sheikh Abdulkahhâr Zokaydî (d.1906) in the town of Kayabağlar in today's Kurtalan. While the sheikhs in this lodge provide Sufi education according to the teachings of Khalidism; They also worked as professors in madrasahs. The reason why the sheikhs did not leave a caliph behind was that they prioritized their teaching aspects. The care they give to the madrasa is a distinctive feature of the Molla Halil es-Si'irdî family, to which they belong, in the region. In addition to its guidance activities, the lodge was not indifferent to social and political developments. In this sense, Sheikh Abdulkahhâr led the Yazidi Batran village to become Muslim. His son Sheikh Mahmud (d.1945) participated in World War I with his disciples. With the exile of the sheikhs during the Republic period, the activities in the lodge were interrupted from time to time, but they were not completely interrupted and continued until the recent period. In this study, the position of the Zokayd lodge, which has been operating since the last periods of the Ottoman Empire, in the history of Sufism is discussed.
